Painting An Office in the Tuggerah Business District
In June we did some commercial painting services for a fit out contractor and painted an office in the Tuggerah Business District . We had an unusual feature wall colour on this job using a burgundy colour (that matched the company logo) against a cream and a pale fawn colour. This looked really stunning as the contrast was high and the dark paint peeped through partition windows and made a great backdrop for the pictures they later put up.
I was sad I'm not a better photographer as the painted colour is a deep mulberry or purplish burgundy and my photos do not bring this out very well, but instead somewhat darken it . However the project manager took some pictures and agreed I could use them here, so some of these photographs are way better than others!
The metal internal doors in the office suite were also painted with this feature colour. Initially I thought this would be too strong, but it looks great, especially against the cream. The partition doors are fawn.
When I created this post I thought it was a pity I can't go back and photograph what the paint job looks like with all the furniture and the glass installed in the partitions, with the hardware on the doors and the trims finished. With the photos above though you won't have to use your imagination and add the filing cabinets, computer desks, decorative plants and picture frames in yourself. You can see a real before and after !
