Painting at Gorokan
It's not very often that you get a painting job within a few streets of where you live, but it's nice when you do. Gorokan is the older suburb and Lake Haven (where we live), Blue Haven, and Charm Haven circle it, sharing the same post code.
So this job to refresh the painting at Gorokan was a breeze! We painters got to sleep in half an hour longer in the morning, the house was empty of furniture, the carpet was being replaced, and the customer wanted a similar colour painted - just refreshed and repaired.
The main difference was the woodwork was painted white not matched to the wall colour as it was before. There is something very clean about timber painted in white gloss. It stands out and makes a feature of the window, making the window look larger. It is a traditional and often chosen combination - white ceiling and timber, with beige walls - and it's so long lastingly popular because it's a neutral surround that is light and airy.
